New DVR PS3 Bundle Hitting Japan
“It Only Does Everything” is the cornerstone of Sony’s wildly successful ad campaign and for good reason–the PS3 can be the center of the digital home. Video, audio, 3D , HD and photo capabilities make it an easy choice for consumers looking for an all-in-one device. There is only a short list of things it’s missing–and one of the larger ones is getting a nice new bundle in Japan
DVR capability is a feature that PS3 owners in the US have wanted ever since Europe was given the PlayTV and Japan was given the torne. On November 18th, Sony will release a limited edition 320GB PS3 bundled with a torne for ¥39,980 ($480.00); a stand-alone torne costing ¥9,980 ($120.00).
It seems inevitable that Sony will release a DVR solution in the US eventually. For now we can dare to dream…
